Doin' Right
Being raised in the South, you learn to say yes ma’am and yes sir, to be kind to your neighbors, and to love the outdoors. Those lessons in Southern hospitality and doing the right thing influence every bottle of vodka we make, from where we source our ingredients to who we partner with, and, at the end of the day, who and what we support with a bit of our earnings from a hard day’s work. Luckily, as we’ve grown, we’ve been blessed to be able to support more and more causes that impact our planet and communities in a positive way.

Cheers to a Better Planet.
Our current focus is something we can all agree on—bees! Not only are bees a vital component to making our delicious vodkas, but their health is critical to the planet as a whole. We’ve teamed up with Charleston-based The Bee Cause Project to fund observation hives across the country. These hives empower students, teachers, and community members to experience the wonder, ingenuity, beauty, and power of the honey bee.
On World Bee Day 2021, we joined our friends at The Bee Cause Project, in partnership with Puerto Rican non-profit organizations Para La Naturaleza and Be a Bee, as the primary sponsor to announce the new honey bee sanctuary. The Bee Sanctuary at Para La Naturaleza in Manati is set to open in June 2021 and will be the commonwealth’s first-ever project of its kind. Puerto Rico’s honey bee population was essentially wiped out as a result of Hurricane Maria in 2017, with more than 80% of the island’s bees destroyed. Understanding the severity of the situation due to the important role honey bees play in Puerto Rico and worldwide, the Be a Bee organization connected with the teams at Para La Naturaleza and The Bee Cause Project with a vision to create a bee sanctuary that would restore and preserve the island’s bee population. The sanctuary will also offer self-guided tours, provide education, and spread awareness to local students, community organizations, and families, as well as visitors from all over the world.
